First class a success!

Welcome, new runners! It was great to meet you and the first session went really well. Our first walk/jog was 2 miles exactly (see this link for our route) - great job!

Although Kendra brought her camera, she forgot to snap a picture of us braving the brisk wind along the Clark Fork. Next time! However, the camera did capture this shot of Kendra and Jenny in the School of Massage along with Mr. Bones.

Have fun on your in-between-class workouts and we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday evening!

If you missed the first class, please still free to join us! It's not too late to get in on the camaraderie and fitness ride.

Thanks again!

Hey Guys, I just wanted you to know I really enjoyed the class this morning. It's just what I need. Thanks Kennie and Jenny and everyone.

Thanks, Patricia. Hey, I hope you can send us a few comments when you're traveling to Mexico and are in some swanky wi-fi hotspot RV park. :) We'd love to know where your route took you since you pretty much know where we'll be! Of course, we'll try not to turn green with envy if you describe some balmy temperatured jaunt on the beach in Margarita-ville. (Don't lose that shaker of salt!)

Patricia, I am in agreement. Great class and exactly what I needed. I appreciate the leaders and what they bring to the group and look forward to many runs with the group!! Tina

Hi everyone! I enjoyed the group and appreciate getting started. "What if I actually ended up liking it?" That was a good first workout and I like the cautious approach ~ no injuries. Except that...I have a sore spot on the top of my right foot and I think it might have to do with pronation and my shoes...dunno.

Sally, it might be tying the laces too tight? We'll have to take a look at your shoes next time.

And thanks, Tina!

Jenny,

Do my eyes deceive me, or is the highest number on the weight scale 150?

I'm afraid I weigh a teensy bit more than that.

Hey Pat,
Don't know what you weigh~It doesn't matter; my goal is to look as good as you do! You already have the lean, long runner's body that I am hoping I can develop. We did well last night and it's a great group.

You are TOO kind! Thank you. I just want to run as fast as you do.

I'm really enjoying the group also! I may get to attend more classes since my husband failed to tow the trailer out of Rock Creek--too much snow! So we may have to postpone the trip. But, I'm excited about running with the group, so it's all good.

Patricia, you are right about the weight graph, I thought I made them all self-scaling but I missed that one. To change the scale, double click on the x-axis and you can change the max weight to display a higher values. If you have problems just send me your excel file and I'll fix it and send it back to you.

Patricia, you probably already figured this out but I meant the y-axis, not the x-axis!
